The programme of events is as varied and entertaining as ever with something for all the family – there will be the usual favourites including the Lurig Run, Vintage Family Fun Day, dance workshops and ‘Lark in the Park’ in Cottage Wood.

The finale on Sunday 12th August is the Waves of Tory and street party. Music will be provided by ‘Justin McGurk and The Boogiemen’ and throughout the evening there will be party games and treats for the children, fire throwers and entertainment to keep everyone happy.

Throughout the week organisers appreciate the continued support and generosity from everyone attending the many events. The support from local businesses, donations and sponsorship all help make the festival a great success.

Many of the events are outdoor and are dependent on good weather; the venue may need to be changed at short notice – any changes or amendments will be displayed on a notice board at the Curfew Tower and at the entrance to the Festival Office, Mill Street.
