Heron’s new perch at park
Alliance councillor Tom Campbell has welcomed the reinstatement of Loughside Park’s distinctive heron sculpture.
It was Cllr Campbell who first spotted that the public art work had been vandalised and reported the matter.
“This is a lovely sculpture, which was only in place for a relatively period before it was vandalised,” he said. “Where it is now placed it will be visible by CCTV and I trust that it will remain untouched and safe. If anyone does seek to damage council property, they should be left in no doubt as to the determination of the council to take any offenders to court.”
