Historical bus tours

Ballymoney Borough Arts Committee series of historical tours begins on Monday 20 June.

These tours are always a popular feature of the Committee’s summer programme offering the opportunity to learn about the history of many interesting buildings and sites under the guidance of local historian, S Alex Blair.

This month’s tour features Stranocum Hall, a beautiful Georgian house which dates to the 18th century when the estate was owned by the Hutchinson family. The house has been carefully restored to its former glory by Billy and Lily O’Neill who have made every effort to preserve the character and atmosphere of this splendid historic building.
