Ian White plays High Kirk……for free in May

IAN White is certainly no stranger and has been a pioneer both in quality praise and worship music for over 25 years.

He has travelled the world and produced more than 20 albums.

Ian and Carol have two boys, Taylor, 18, and Harrison, 16, and live in Perth, Scotland where they attend the local Presbyterian Church. Although Ian’s ministry is accepted across a wide spectrum of worship styles, his audience is very much family based.

With three children’s’ albums Ian always includes a children’s section in his concerts.

Ian has just completed a Spring Tour across the UK and his new CD/DVD “Sound and Vision” will be available on the night. He describes the new album very modestly as being “a simply done set of songs”.

And, he is set to play at High Kirk Presbyterian Church on Friday, May 11, at a FREE family concert.

The evening will contain a mixture of old and new songs and will be just Ian with his acoustic guitar, a bit as if he was just sitting in your front room. The quality will be high and there will be several new congregational worship songs that Ian hopes to introduce on the night.

If that’s not enough to encourage you to come along, here’s a word from Ian himself:

“I would encourage folks of all ages to come to the concert — I always try to do some songs for children, and hope to make it a great night for all the family!”

Doors open at 7:30pm and entry is FREE with a ticket that can be obtained via the Church Office 2564 4834 or Gordon Montgomery 07838 184 116 [email protected]. There will be a voluntary collection with all proceeds from the evening going to Compassion.
