Imag9ine exhibition at Flowerfield

THE ANNUAL show from the degree students at Limavady is always one of the high points of the visual arts calendar at Flowerfield Arts Centre – and from Friday, May 17, the centre hosts the latest of these group shows, under the title ‘Ima9ine’.

The show comprises the work of nine local artists who are graduating from the University of Ulster Associate Degree in Fine and Applied Arts at the North West Regional College in Limavady.

This year’s students will be presenting an inspirational and eclectic mix of fine art and craft pieces. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to see glass sculptures alongside video installations, compare traditional oil paintings with collographs prints, and more. The nine artists featured are Alice Mcateer, Liz Marsh, Karen Douglas, Audrey Gamble, Janet Hoy, Allan Offord, Beata Debska, Karen Hunter and Una Doherty Roe.
