The event, the Financial Times Financial Advisor Awards, took place at the Natural History Museum.

Surrounded by 30 foot dinosaurs, the local girls were the warm up act for host, Jason Manford, who posed for a picture with our talented local girls after the ceremony.

Speaking to The Times after the event, Innova dancer and choreographer, Catherine Lamont said: “We were contacted about the event, but we didn’t realise that it was going to take place in the Natural History Museum.”

Fourteen of the girls travelled to London and performed a 12-minute routine in front of investors and bankers. “It was a fabulous venue. It is always hard to judge how an audience will be at corporate events like this, said Catherine. “It’s almost like going into the unknown, but they were fabulous, they really enjoyed our performance, it went down really well.”

It’s a been a whirlwind few months for the girls since their appearance on Britain’s Got Talent, Catherine admitted: ”It’s been crazy, in the best possible way. We are getting invitations to all kinds of functions. We have a few big things coming up in 2015, but we can’t say too much about anything yet.”

“Things are really taking off for us. We have our junior troupe now, and they are getting lots of bookings. Aged between eight and eleven the young troupe do the same kind of thing that us seniors do. They love the limelight.”
