Irwin’s ‘think pink’ for new promotion in Ballymena

Irwin’s Bakery is feeling ‘in the pink’ as it ‘gears up’ for a new Giro D’Italia themed promotion with SPAR at Rosses Retail Park and Frys Road, Ballymena.

From Monday, Irwin’s will offer shoppers the chance to get in on the Giro D’Italia fun by winning a host of great prizes at 20 SPAR outlets along the three ‘Big Start’ routes.

Anyone who fancies themselves as a budding Bradley Wiggins can fill in a form in store to be entered into a prize draw to win a bike and £50 worth of Irwin’s vouchers.

The Portadown based bakery has also given a ‘Giro Pink’ makeover to its iconic Nutty Krust, Softee and Rankin Selection Brown Soda bread packs to get consumers in the mood for the upcoming Northern Ireland stages of the famous Italian cycle tour. Over 1 million products will be swathed in eye-popping pink for the duration of the cycling promotion which runs from April 28 to May 23 and will be promoted heavily in store and via a social media campaign.
