Husband and wife team, Anna & Alex (The ‘A’s in AA Music), founded their shop on the basis that quality does not need to come at a price. Reconditioning pianos, selling quality new pianos and, most importantly, guaranteeing every piano sold, is the heart of AA Music’s business ethos, striving to provide the best products, best value and best service possible.

I head to work for 8am. I only live four miles away from the showroom so it doesn’t take too long.

First thing we have a staff meeting and sort out what has to be done that day including deliveries.

All of us are piano specialists, and my brother Paul and I work together as a family business to continue bringing value, choice and excellence to anyone seeking their instrument. As musicians we have a genuine passion and appreciation for music, this shines through in our dealings with customers.

There is always a member of staff at the showroom during opening hours. Throughout the day I help out in the showroom, taking phone calls, following up on orders, arranging dates and times for pianos to be delivered to our customers and most of all, talking to those who call in and help them along the way to selecting the piano that is perfect for them. We also do repairs too so there’s plenty going on to keep us all busy.

With a reputation spanning over a quarter of a century, a strong emphasis on quality and our family’s commitment to customer service, we have an instrument for everyone from student to accomplished pianist. From upright to grand, acoustic to digital and from reconditioned to new, AA Music has the piano for you. We are also the leading Kawai dealer in Northern Ireland and have won the award for “outstanding performance” every year for the past seven years.

We know that with so many makes, styles, prices and countries selling pianos, choosing the right piano for you can be difficult. We want to educate the customer so they can make the best informed choice and come away delighted with their investment. I love it when the customer goes away happy knowing they have had professional advice from people who know what they are talking about. Our long established network, family friendly service and experience mean that we are confident we can provide anyone with a piano perfect for them.

The purchase of a piano is both wonderful for the pianist and student alike, and also a focal point and furniture piece for all. It is important to know and understand what it is you are investing in. There are so many potential pitfalls in buying a used piano privately that it is highly recommended to have an expert access any potential piano purchase.

We are one of the leading piano dealers in Ireland and we have a large selection of new and pre-enjoyed upright, grand and digital pianos as well as other instruments we offer such as guitars and keyboards.

We also hire pianos to private and corporate functions, as well as to concerts and events so I could be taking bookings for this service.

I love my job. It is a pleasure working in the family business. I meet so many lovely people, and to help them get the right piano is so important and it is the best feeling in the world when the customer is happy.
