Joe named ‘Dad of the Year’
Joe Murphy from Glengormley was named ‘Dad of the Year’ at the recent NI 4 Kids Family Awards.
Joe helped raise thousands of pounds for specialist search and rescue equipment to be located at Belfast harbour were his 20-year-old son, Joby, tragically died in January 2012 after falling into the River Lagan.
The Elmfield man received his award at a ceremony in Belfast City Hall.
