Join a heritage tour of Coleraine
Causeway Museum Service invites you to take a tour of the town centre with Archaeologist Nick Brannon.
The event, this Saturday, September 14, is part of European Heritage Day and will explore the landscape of the town and the challenging events of the 17th century. Although Coleraine has a history that goes back nearly ten thousand years, the town was redesigned and laid out in the 17th-century. The streets of the town centre today follow precisely the lay out which was planned in 1611. Come along to Coleraine Market Yard on Saturday, tours start at 11.30am and 2pm and are free.
