IT’S the wettest, wildest and wackiest way to spend St Patrick’s Day!

Only the most hardy take the icy dip into the Herring Pond for the annual Duck Dive at Portstewart

Intrepid fundraisers will again brave the freezing water to raise money for the RNLI on Sunday, March 17 from 1pm.

As usual Henry McKinney and his organising team want to hear from anyone willing to take part.

And they encouraging eveyone who wants to take part to raise as much money as possible for the Lifeboat.

On the day there will be the usual cavalcade of jumpers in fancy dress throwing themselves into the freezing waters of the Herring Pond.

The Portrush Lifeboat will make its annual appearance so there’s plenty to see even if you are not taking part.
