Join the Christmas fun at Moneymore charity concert

NOTHING says Christmas quite like some beautiful Christmas music so why not get into the spirit of the festive period and come along to a special Christmas concert in aid of charity.

The Cookstown branch of Cancer Focus Northern Ireland are hosting a Christmas Concert in St John’s Church for Life, Moneymore on Monday 2nd December.

Special guests on the evening will be the ‘Sing for Life Choir’. The choir is made up of cancer sufferers, their carers and those who have been affected by cancer, some members of Cancer Focus are also in the choir. A mix of other artists will also be performing on the night.

The night will be a mixture of Christmas carols and contemporary songs that everyone can enjoy all whilst raising money for a great cause.

All of the money raised on the evening, as with all Cancer Focus Northern Ireland events stays within Northern Ireland to help support local people who are suffering from cancer and their families.

Cancer Focus have recently joined forces in partnership with LILAC who have recently opened a new care centre on Union Street in Cookstown, the Better Together partnership will provide joint services, as well as those provided independently by each of the charities.

The Christmas concert starts at 7.30pm and light refreshments will be served afterwards in the Assembly Rooms. No admission fee just a voluntary donation to Cancer Focus if you wish.
