Last weekend saw the kids welcome summer break with a School’s Out themed night. Activities included sports coaching, arts and crafts, face painting, a climbing wall and inflatables.

Jenni Coulter, the council’s Arts and Development Officer commented: “Brighter Nights is a great programme offering families a free night of fun out together. Every Friday sees a different theme such as Circus Skills which we had on the first night and this coming Friday the theme will be Wimbledon with tennis coaching and taster sessions available. The nights are extremely popular and are a fantastic way to start the weekend.”
