Last call for Children in Crossfire zipline challenge

Children in Crossfire's Head of Fundraising Ronan McCay has issued a '˜final call' for people

to register for the Zipline across the River Foyle, which will take place on Saturday, September 8.

Ronan said: “The money we raise at this event will help Children in Crossfire to deliver its programmes in Tanzania and Ethiopia, where we help give some of the world’s most vulnerable children the start in life they deserve. I urge people to register immediately if they want to take part in what promises to be a very fun fundraiser.”

Children in Crossfire’s Events Fundraiser Eileen Warren added: “Having done the Zipline myself in 2014 I can confirm that it really is great fun. The adrenalin rush and sense of achievement you get zipping across the Foyle at 35mph is nothing short of amazing. We are asking participants to pay a £30 deposit, then to raise a further £120.”
