Lisburn band bring back Britpop

LISBURN band Pretty Cartel will be playing at the First Blues Club in Lisburn on Friday June 8.

Pretty Cartel are a five piece rock n roll band from Lisburn, who play a mix of originals and covers based around the 90s Britpop era.

They have been gigging around greater Belfast from summer 2010 in venues such as Limelight/Spring Air Brake and have also performed at Northern Ireland’s MOD weekender in Bangor.

The band have been working hard in the studio for the last year on their self penned tracks, including tracks such as It Is Now, The Jam, The Busker, Subbuteoballs and Rockstars, Junkie Girl and many more, all sounding familiar to that 90s era that all the band grew up with and love so well.

Their covers consist of Made of Stone, Sally Cinnamon (Stones Roses) Dreaming of You (The Coral) Mucky Fingers, Rocking Chair, Songbird (Oasis) and There She Goes (The Las).
