Lisburn band lined up for Auntie Annies show

FOUR piece live electronic dance group, FutureScope are lining up for an explosive showcase in Auntie Annies later this month, featuring four of the top local electronic live acts.

FutureScope is the alter ego for Lisburn songwriter, pianist and producer, Niall Hilary. At only twenty one years old, Niall has years of experience under his belt.

Playing and recording for top artists such as Aaron Shanley, STA, Grainne Duffy, clownparlour and more has given Niall a scope for success and a motivation and drive that would be hard to surpass.

FutureScope have had a lot of success in the past year, including BBC and RTE radio plays, live performances in the Limelight, Radar, Love and Death, Auntie Annies and many more.

Exciting

FutureScope are stepping up a level, having showcased a jammed and high powered EP Launch in Love and Death Inc at the beginning of the summer, a video shoot underway and a number of exciting shows to perform at this winter - starting with Auntie Annies on December 13.

The FutureScope EP was fully written by Niall Hilary, and self produced, ‘bedroom’ style. After working on twelve tracks over the past year, five have been selected to feature on the first FutureScope release, ‘Sound is Active’.

With a blend of driving choruses, euphoric layers of sound, mood swings and the trademark piano driving or glistening a track and a Northern Ireland Remix CD released in the coming weeks featuring Niall Hilary’s remixes of top northern irish songs, FutureScope hope to continue their success into 2012.

FutureScope began the expedition into live shows in 2010.

Exciting and passionate performances, with live bass, drums, singers, keyboards, masks, lights and launchpads playing ambient, house, techno and trance ensured FutureScope was a unique show not to be missed.

With the vocals and charisma of Claire McCartney taking the lead, Ryan McCauley on bass and James Toal on drums, Niall has a passionate and confident group of musicians ensuring a solid yet exciting performance. Catching the eye of many industry pro’s and music lovers alike, FutureScope have been hailed as one of the top live acts around today.

Their new video, for the song Piece by Peace will be released on December 5. The song features lyrics taken from the peace wall in Belfast.

FutureScope will be joined at Auntie Annies by Kab Driver, Decomposing in Paris and City of Stars.

Doors open on the night at 9pm and admission is £5.
