Local bands take to the stage for Sunflower Fest

A HOST of local bands will be playing at this year’s eagerly anticipated Sunflower Fest, which will be held at Tubby’s Farm in Hillsborough from August 19-21.

Lisburn favourite Mojo Fury, who are currently touring their ‘Visiting Hours of a Travelling Circus’ debut album, will be headlining the rock main stage on the Friday night. Other local bands taking to one of the three Sunflower Fest stages over the weekend include Clown Parlour, Invinyl, Pay*ola, Kyle John Suckling, Duncan Campbell and the Duty Paid Society and Rams Pocket Radio.

And, of course, Lisburn-born troubadour, Duke Special will be bringing proceedings to a close when he headlines the festival on the Sunday night.

The full line-up for the weekend, as well as stage breakdowns and everything you need to know about the festival can be found online at www.sunflowerfest.co.uk.
