When Polish immigrant Ania Dubrowski came to London, her plan was to work for a few months and raise some money for an operation that would help save her mother’s failing eyesight. But far from being paved with gold, the streets of the capital held unexpected horrors. Living in squalor, struggling to survive and with the ever-present menacing shadow of her monstrous boss looming over her, Ania’s hopes were all but in tatters.

Join the character of Joanne Hart, a city investment broker, as she describes how an unlikely friendship, an outrageous plan and a mysterious character living on the edge of the city converge to lead to an unexpected outcome.

The play begins on Saturday March 10 at 8pm and admission, payable on the door, is £7.
