Lurgan’s new funnyman set for comedy club

LURGAN newest funnyman will perform at a new comedy club in JP’s Bar on Friday, August 5.

Phil McEwan, an up-and-coming young musical comedian is making massive steps in the comedy circuit after only a handful of gigs.

Phil has already headlined massive clubs in Belfast, not to mention winning Mason’s Open-Mic Competition in Derry after only his fourth gig.

He is a huge talent with songs powerful enough to knock your granny over. Not to be missed.

Phil will be followed by fellow Lurgan funnyman Sean Hegarty.

This one-liner powerhouse recently supported Tim McGarry (Da from Give My Head Peace) during his tour and played to a packed out comedy tent during the Glasgowbury Music Festival.

Sean has been compared to famous jokesters Tim Vine and Steven Wright with his dead-pan, witty gags and is making big steps up the UK comedy ladder.

The launch night of JP’s comedy club is at 10pm on Friday, August 5. As well as Phil and Sean there will be special guests and open-mic spot. Admission is £4.
