The sell-out event, organised by Newtownabbey Borough Council in association with Ballylagan Organic Farm, raised approximately £2,000 for the Mayor’s three charities - Epilepsy Action NI, Alzheimer’s Society and Reach.

Around 300 people turned up to see Celebrity Masterchef finalist and Scrapheap Challenge personality, Dick Strawbridge, show off his culinary talents using locally sourced produce provided by Ballylagan Organic Farm. His hour-long cookery demonstration was a huge hit, as was the face painting, arts and crafts, balloon modelling, jazz music and more than 40 craft, gift and produce stalls.
