McAfee Auctions first sale of 2013

McAFEE Auctions’ first sale of 2013 takes place in their Ballymoney rooms on Thursday 17th and Friday 18th January and this two night sale offers over 1,100 lots of antique and general furnishings, pianos, collectibles, good modern furniture, paintings, overmantles, restoration and outside lots.

Among the many good pieces of furniture included are a very nice four poster king sized bed, an early carved lidded chest, inlaid display cabinet, selection of chaise lounges, dining room table and chair sets, two large gilted overmantles, three piece suites, couches, two deep buttoned leather chairs and other occasional chairs, hall, side and occasional tables including nests of tables, bedroom furniture, etc.

Also included in the sale is a large collection of Doultons, Hummells, Worcester, Belleek, tea and dinner sets, ruby, Beswick, Silver and Silver plate, some jewellery including a very good gold and diamond cluster ring, a selection of violins, a very good modern upright piano and another piano, an upholstered corner suite, selection of painted furniture, a good collection of fishing rods,reels and fishing tackle, pictures, prints, mirrors, a gold Masonic jewel, a set of nicely bound Masonic books, sashes, banner, etc, boxes of books, linen, brass, copper, Doulton and Beswick animals and figurines, coins, old £1 and 10 shilling notes, etc.

Outside lots include lawn mowers, patio table set, heavy duty puller, milk crock, power washer, two wooden sleighs, Ssythe, etc.

Viewing for the sale commences on Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th January from 3 pm to 5pm and 7pm to 8.30pm daily and on each evening of sale from 3.30pm to start of sale.

Mc Afee Auctions are also working on their First Fine Furnishing and Collectible sale scheduled for February and are still accepting fine furnishings, collectibles, silver and jewellery for this sale.
