Reuben Glover, Chairperson of the Mid Antrim Branch, pictured here with Harold and DUP MLA Paul Frew, said: “What Harold and Alison have achieved to date alongside their able team of Volunteers and contacts is tremendous and the members of the Branch, many of them health workers and volunteers themselves in many guises, thought it would be good to donate to this worthy cause.

“It was good speaking with Harold to see his passion and determination to make a difference, he gave us a full update of what was taking place and what he hopes to achieve in the coming weeks and we say ‘well done for stepping up’.

“There have been many worthy efforts of fundraising over the past few weeks and it’s reassuring to know that when we all need to pull together to save lives and protect the most vulnerable and the staff who look after us, we can all help with the effort.”
