The whole company, comprising 85 girls, have been assisted in their endeavours by Jumping Clay tutors and a generous grant from the Arts and Culture Committee at Cookstown District Council.

This year, the officers and girls are celebrating their ruby anniversary. Within the company, of 85 girls from age 3 to 18, the promotion of this milestone in the life of the company has been to the forefront of all activities and badge work.

The company has worked on models during November with each girl designing, preparing and creating an individual Jumping Clay model of themselves for display at their forthcoming carol service. The girls were assisted by Valerie, a Jumping Clay tutor and a team of volunteers who provided guidance with techniques, artistic design and modelling.

The models will be on display for public viewing at their forthcoming Carol Service at 7pm on Sunday (December 8).

Stewartstown Girls Brigade wishs to thank the Jumping Clay tutors and Cookstown District Council for their support and assistance with this project.
