Money advice at Larne library

To help people make the most of their money, Libraries NI is now making available the face-to-face element of the Money Advice Service in England and Northern Ireland, being delivered by A4e. The Money Advice Service is a nationwide organisation which offers free, practical help about money matters for millions of people who need advice, whatever their financial circumstances.

Advisors based in Northern Ireland are ready to help people manage their money better and so get more out of life. The trained Money Advisors are available to talk to local residents about a range of money matters. They can help people with everyday money matters such as managing budgets and bills, to better understand existing products and services, or to reach future financial goals.

The Money Advice Service complements all other areas of advice and guidance which A4e already provides. A4e’s delivery of face-to-face advice on behalf of the Money Advice Service, allows A4e to continue to grow its spectrum of expert support to its customers – from money, to learning and skills, employment and legal aid - so creating a joined-up programme of support, offering real solutions for people’s needs and concerns.

Larne library is one of 12 being used for the Money Advice Service, which will be held in a private room, such as a meeting room.
