“My Name is Katie” talk in Portrush

Are you concerned about how their relationship with alcohol might develop in their teen years?

Then get along to Carnalridge Primary School in Portrush on Wednesday, April 17 at 7.15pm, for a free information evening for parents of KS2 children.

“My Name is Katie” is a government-backed campaign which has been recently launched nationally through public posters. It aims to inform and advise parents of primary schoolchildren about the positive effects that early intervention can have on their child’s later relationship with alcohol.

This is a hard-hitting talk, suitable for parents and carers only, and will be delivered by the Ballymena Community Support Officer for Alcohol & Drugs. It should last about up to an-hour-and-a-half long hours and complimentary refreshments will also be available.
