New location for Ballymoney Post Office

The Post Office has confirmed the move of Ballymoney Post Office from its current location to create a modern branch with extended opening hours for customers. The branch will open at Glebeside Spar, 22 John Street, Ballymoney on Tuesday 3 February at 1pm.

The move is part of a major modernisation programme designed to make it easier for customers to do business, through longer opening hours and modern environments. As part of Post Office plans, the new Ballymoney Post Office will have six serving positions. These will be a mixture of one screened and four open-plan counter positions and a Post Office serving point at the retail counter – a new concept for making Post Office products and services available alongside retail transactions during shop opening hours.

The branch will open Monday to Saturday; 9am to 17:30. The Post Office service point will be available at the retail counter Monday to Saturday; 7am to 21:00. This will give customers 84 hours a week to access Post Office products and services.
