New sea front business for Berne

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council is seeking tenders for the property which they advertise as having ‘a prime coatal waterfront location’.

The property is located along the main promenade between The Crescent and Portstewart strand

According to the advertisement, in this week’s paper, the seaward facing facility for a ‘tourism or catering related outlet’ is now ready for leasing.

Interested parties are asked to submit their tender responses before noon on Friday, June 5.

Causeway Coast and Glens councillor, Mark Fielding has welcomed the news: “The opportunity to turn a dis-used building along the coastal pathway in Portstewart into a potential business has to be welcomed by both visitors and the local community.”
