Ballymena Club for the Hard of Hearing recently started its new programme for 2015-2016.

Roberta Boyd, Secretary, said: “Joining the Club for the Hard of Hearing is a great way to help live with hearing loss. As well as offering free lip reading classes, the club has a social aspect that is tailored to people with hearing difficulty. Everyone is warmly welcome to attend any of the meetings.”

The Club started its programme by learning more from Action on Hearing Loss on the strategies and equipment that can be used to cope with hearing loss and the condition of Tinnitus.

At next month’s meeting the club members will enjoy a talk from Head Gardener of the National Trust, Neal Porteous.

It will be held on Wednesday 14th October 7.30pm in Ballykeel Business Centre.

The free lip reading classes run on a Saturday morning. For further information about the Club or the Lip Reading classes contact Roberta Boyd on 028 2564 1813.
