The documentary will also reminisce on changing trends throughout the decades – the first package holidays out of Aldergrove Airport in 1969, the launch of Club 18-30, hitting the ski slopes in the 80s or even the dancefloor in Ibiza in the 90s!
The filming process is very straightforward. Filming is done in the comfort of the contributors’ own homes, through a contactless filming process as the production company abide to strict, covid safe filming regulations.
Producer Kerry Reid said: “People and their stories are always at the heart of these programmes and it’s a privilege for us to be able to bring untold stories to our TV screens, alongside treasured footage and photographs. This is a wonderful opportunity to re-live some of the happiest holiday memories of our lives and we really want people who are at home to have fun with it, both on and off screen”
