Stranocum & District Development Group are holding an Old Tyme Dance, in Roseyards Presbyterian Church Hall, on Friday 27th May 2011.

BUSHSIDE Accordian Band committee are holding a Spring Sale on Saturday, May 28 at 1pm in The Kerr-Smiley Orange Hall.

Country Music night

NASHVILLE Records are holding a Country Music promotion on Monday, May 23 in Maghrboy Hotel, Portrush.

Grand Country Charity Concert will be held with proceeds going to the Causeway Hospital ‘Medical 2’ in memory of Paul Dunbar.

Live on stage will be Tony Kerr, Eugene O’Dorran, Kenny Archerplus their fabulous country band. Also appearing will be The Farmers Poet, Brian Rankin and the Red Sails 2010 winner, 9-year-old Jamie Moorehead.

Admission is £10. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7.45pm. There will also be a raffle on the night.

Table quiz

YOU are cordially invited to a table quiz which will be held in Bushfoot Golf Club, Portballintrae on Friday 27 May at 8.30pm in aid of Diabetes UK (NI Branch). Teams should consist of up to five players and the cost is £3.00 per person. Come along and enjoy the craic and a good night out. There will be a raffle with plenty of good prizes and everyone will be made most welcome.

THERE will be an Old Time Dance in the Royal British Legion Hall in Townhead Street in Ballymoney on Friday, June 3rd.

The dance will begin at 9pm and continue until late. Music will be by Don Rodgers and Allister Coyles.

Admission £6 including supper. Proceeds in aid of Ward 9, Altnagelvin Hospital.

Ceilidh dancing

Craiganee Accordion Band invite you to an evening of Scottish Ceilidh Dancing on Thursday 19 May at 7.30pm in Ballinlea Orange Hall.

Fancy dress party

A FARMERS and city slickers themed fancy dress party will take place on Friday 3 June, the night of the Ballymoney Show at Ballymoney United Football Club. Entry is just £3 and it will run from 9.30pm until 1am.

Fancy Dress is entirely optional but try not to be a Boring-Bertie! Rules apply to male or female: Farmer - Checkered shirt, wellys, braces, chords/denim, even a straw hat if you can find one!

City Slicker - Smart. suits, shirt and tie/bowtie, skirt and louse etc. Imagine a businessman/woman in the city!
