Glenarm Walkers ‘delighted’ to return after lockdown

Glenarm Walkers are pulling on their boots again in preparation for a series of post-lockdown outings.

In a statement, the group said; “Glenarm Walkers are delighted to have our walks up and running again. Our next walk is Sunday 19th July Shilnavogie Hill Walk.

“This is a new walk for the group through private, rugged countryside.”

Participants are asked to register at Glenarm Visitor Centre for 2pm, or if coming from the Ballymena area, contact Seamus for alternative meeting place, telephone 07900621943 or email [email protected] - cost £5 per person.

The statement continued: “We are pleased to be offering a variety of different walks one scheduled for Saturday 8th August and one scheduled for Saturday 29th August. If interested contact Seamus for more information.

“We are trained walk leaders/tour guides with extensive local knowledge and folklore with plenty of stories to tell along the way. We are also available for bespoke walks/tours, if there is a particular area you are interested in contact us at anytime.”
