Patsy Cline fans ‘crazy’ for play

A new play starring some of Northern Ireland’s finest comedy actors will be staged at The MAC, in Belfast, from May 26 until June 14.

“Crazy” is a comedy by Brenda Murphy who has also penned “A Night With George” and “Baby It’s Cold Outside”.

“Crazy” stars Caroline Curran (50 Shades of Red White and Blue), Ciaran Nolan (Man In The Moon) and Marty Maguire (BBC’s Number 2’s).

GBL Productions has led the way with “50 Shades of Red White and Blue”; “Fly Me To The Moon” and “A Night With George”. “Crazy” looks set to become another comedy classic. It has been billed as”the funniest of 2015”.

“Crazy” tells the story of Belfast woman, Ruby who is obsessed with Patsy Cline and always looking for Mr Right.

When she joins internet dating sites and goes through a succession of weirdos, sex maniacs and the odd “Cheatin’ Heart”, she starts to “Fall To Pieces” and wonders if she’s ever going to find the man of her “Sweet Dreams”.

But when she turns to her idol and her songs for some answers she is shocked by what happens next.

So get your best party gear on and head down for the craziest “Honky Tonk” night of 2015, don’t sit in the house with “Three Cigarettes In An Ashtray” when you could be “Foolin Around” at the MAC.
