Paul and Niall’s morale-boosting marathon effort

Two Coleraine men are undertaking a morale-boosting and fundraising half marathon for local care homes.

Paul Neill and Niall Kennedy will be running a half marathon (that’s 13.1 miles) around a two mile radius of Paul’s house in Coleraine on Saturday, May 9.

Paul said: “We will be running to raise money to boost morale in our local care homes, to help our unsung heroes, the carers, get PPE and to get supplies for the residences.

“These residences are home to the people who built the foundations in which we live today. To date we are pleased to say we have raised £600 for the Bohill care home in Coleraine and we are closing in on our target of £600 for Madelayne Court care home in Portstewart.

“The more money we raise, then the more care homes we can help, even if people can donate even just £1 it would be very much appreciated.”
