Poppies and Lilies- Good Relations Tour

The Tour is aimed at those interested in an opportunity to learn more about how key events in local British and Irish History.

Interested residents of the Borough can apply for a FREE place on the tour.

The opportunity will be particularly relevant to those interested in exploring their identity through history and culture, particularly as time closes in on a Decade of Anniversaries when a number of significant dates will be marked to commemorate events in the 1912-22 period of our history.

The 3 day tour will bring together people from different backgrounds to visit significant historical sites located in Belfast and Dublin.

The tour will run from Mon 17th to Wed 19th September and will also include sessions for dialogue around the learning experience which all participants must actively engage in. The closing date for applications to the programme is 12 noon on Friday 24th August 2012
