Powerful production from local children

A LOCAL youth drama group will be performing a very special production addressing the issues of anti-social behaviour.

Community Focus Learning Drama Group which is made up of 45 children from Portglenone aged from five to 16 have worked hard over the last 12 weeks in putting together ‘Hoodie’.

Hoodie tells the story of friends with secrets and life as a teenager.

This is an adaptation from the original play ‘Bang out of Order’ by Danny Sturrok and Johnny Carrington and the performance involves powerful and thought-provoking monologues and choreography.

This production is being directed by Brian McMahon from B-DRAMATIC and choreographed by Caroline Creggan from CCDance School.

The production will be performed at The Braid Arts Centre, Ballymena, on Wednesday, April 24 at 7.30pm.
