Prince is seaching for a new home

Prince is looking for his fairytale ending with a new perfect family.

Eight year-old Labrador cross Prince is looking for an adult home where he can be the only pet and can be smothered in lots of TLC. An active boy Prince likes to have his active time but equally is as content with relaxing on the sofa. He would make an ideal addition to a retired family who can slowly help him ease into his new home. If you think you can offer Prince the fresh start he craves then please contact Dogs Trust Ballymena on 028 2563 2977 or visit him and the team at 60 Teeshan Road, Ballymena, Co Antrim, BT43 5PN. www.dogstrust.org.uk.

After four hugely successful years it’s hoped that even more people will join the crowds, and that the sun will continue to shine.

As well as a Fun Dog Show for competitive canines, there will be free health examinations by local vets, free microchipping, a variety of stalls and refreshments, face-painting, a bouncy castle for the youngsters, and dog behaviourists to answer any canine queries.

New for this year are a car boot sale and a Dogs Trust Café, selling all manner of refreshments and baked items, and even some canine treats too!

Some of the VIPs (very important pooches) from Dogs Trust Ballymena will also be in attendance and staff will be on hand to offer advice on responsible dog ownership.

Ronnie Milsop, Campaigns Manager for Dogs Trust Northern Ireland, says: “We are all very excited about this year’s show and it promises to be a wonderful celebration of dogs, and a fantastically fun day for those with two legs and four. A big thank you to the Ballymena Ecos Centre for allowing us to host the event at their wonderful site yet again, to all the local vets who have kindly offered their services for free and to all stall holders. We hope to see plenty of fun-seekers on the 10th!”
