Provost’s Annual Business Lecture this Thursday

THE Provost of the Coleraine campus of the University of Ulster, Professor Deirdre Heenan, will stage her Annual Business Lecture at the Riverside Theatre this Thursday from 6pm.

“Meeting the Economic Challenges: Why We Need to Up Our Game” will be delivered by Professor Neil Gibson, Director of the Northern Ireland

Centre for Economic Policy (NICEP), Ulster Business School.

The lecture will summarise the current economic challenges, why they occurred and what the headline forecast is for the short to medium term.

It will also explore how businesses and commentators need to improve the economic literacy in their arguments in order to move the policy debate forward.
