Quest for largest swim on the Lough
PLANS are afloat for the largest ever group of people to swim in Lough Neagh - a mile long open water swim from Coney Island.
The call is out for all swimmers to join the challenge to swim from the tiny island to Maghery on June 30.
Hungry swimmers will be treated to a free barbecue .
Registration will be from 1.30pm to 3pm and the swim starts at 3.30pm. The fee per adult is £20 and Under 16’s £15. All proceeds will be donated to Maghery Youth. For more info call Gus on 07739835511.
