Range of styles at art exhibition

Larne Art Club’s membership will present an eclectic mix of works to the public at their annual autumn exhibition.

Running from Monday, November 5-16 and staged within the Larne Tourist Information complex on the Narrow Gauge Road, the exhibition will feature oils, water-colours, mixed media, portraits, still-life and abstracts, all for sale to the public.

The exhibition is open weekdays from 10am to 5pm. Admission is free

Club president Patricia Kay said: “This year’s exhibition will be particularly special because as well as our regular members we will be introducing some new and exciting artists to the local public.

“Of course we will be showing a wide range of land and seascapes which have always proved popular. These will be supported with various mediums; etcetera.

“During the exhibition’s run the public will be offered a unique opportunity to not only view but purchase quality pieces, at real value prices,” she said.

The autumn exhibition is. Larne Art Club members are reminded that the exhibition’s ‘hanging day’ is Thursday, November 1 from 10am.
