THE Riding for the Disabled Association are holding their annual Fete and Fun Day on Sunday, 29th May, at Benvarden Gardens.

Everyone is invited to attend another great family Fete and Fun Day at Benvarden Gardens, Ballybogey (kindly granted).

This is an annual event, held on the last Sunday in May each year (Bank Holiday weekend). Activities will include the ever popular Pony Rides, Pony & Trap, Teas & Burger Bar, Ice Creams, Penalty Kicks & Bouncy Castle, Archery, and, of course, the Benvarden Gardens will be open for enjoyment and the sale of plants.

There will be a range of other interesting activities. A new activity this year is a Fun Dog Show, co-ordinated by Alpha 1 Dog Training.

The classes will include Best Fancy Dress, Prettiest Female, Most Handsome Male, Wiggliest Tail, Cutest Puppy, Dog Most Like Their Owner, Best Trick, Best Sausage Catcher and Fastest Bone Eater. The dog show will start at approx 2.30pm.

Once again there will be a number of Craft and Bric-a-Brac Stalls (by pre-booking by form only through RDA on 028 7032 0147).

Helpers and stall holders should be in place from 1 pm onwards and the gates will open for visitors from 2pm.

Entry fee and parking will remain at £5 per car.
