RNLI table quiz

RNLI Ballymoney Branch are holding a table quiz on Friday, September 30 at 8.30pm.

The event will take place in Bushfoot Golf Club, Portballintrae.

Admission is £3 per person, with a maximum of five per table.

All the proceeds are in aid of the RNLI.

An Old Tyme Dance will be held in Ballinlea Orange Hall on Friday 30th September. Music by Sam & Willie O’Neill.

Admission £4.00 including supper. Dancing from 9pm - 12.30. All welcome.

Informative exhibition

Ballymoney Evergreen Club are organising an Informative Exhibition (Helping older people to a better life) in The Lodge Hotel, Coleraine on Wednesday 28th September 2011 11am - 4pm.

There will be information on such things as Health, Energy efficiency, Benefits, Education, safety and much more. Everyone welcome and admission is free.

CAUSEWAY Scottish Country Dance Club reopens on Monday, October 3 from 7.30pm to 9pm in the village hall, Portballintrae.

The club is in its third year and are open to all ages. No partners needed just come and enjoy the dancing. New members will be welcome.

Piping classes

The Kingdom of Dalriada Ulster Scots Society is pleased to announce that Piping and Pipe drumming tuition classes started again last Monday in the Ullans Centre from 7pm to 9pm.

New beginners are still very welcome to attend, regardless of age or ability and the tuition is provided by world class musicians, both of whom have received many awards and are used by the Ulster Scots Agency in schools and at events during the year.

All Tutors employed by the Kingdom of Dalriada Ulster Scots Society have been Access NI checked and approved. Anyone who would like more information on the classes, please contact the Ullans Centre on 028 276 68897.

Scots concert

An Ulster Scots concert is to be held in Lavin Orange Hall on Thursday, September 29.

Doors open at 7.30pm for 8pm start. Performers on stage will include Skullduggery.

Everyone is welcome to come along.

Steve Farlow dance

THE Music Man, Steve Farlow, will be appearing at the RBL Hall in Ballymoney in a dance in aid of Marie Curie Nursing Care.

The dance will take place on Friday, September 30 with dancing from 9pm until late.

Admission is £6 including supper.

Car boot

A CAR boot sale is being held at Our Lady of Lourdes.

The event will take place on Saturday, October 8 between 9am and 1pm.

The price for the boot sale is Cars £5, Cars with a trailor £10 and Vans £10

All proceeds will go towards Our Lady of Lourdes. All are welcome.

Tuition in flute and drum continues at Garryduff Independent Orange Hall.

The classes are held each Thursday night and start at 8pm. Students of all abilities or with no previous experience will be made most welcome. There is an opening in particular for anyone wishing to learn snare and bass drum. These classes are being supported financially by the Ulster Scots Agency.
