THE legend Roy Walker returns for a Northern Ireland theatre tour, culminating in a show at the Grand Opera House in Belfast on November 18.

Roy Walker is already well known to TV viewers through top ITV game show, “Catchphrase”, and has won a whole new fan base through his regular ‘Carpark Catchphrase’ feature on Chris Moyles’ BBC Radio 1 breakfast show. He has become a huge cult hit and is regularly booked for universities around the country where he plays to sell-out audiences – often to two thousand screaming students at a time.

He was team captain for the series of BBC Radio 4’s comedy quiz “Act Your Age”. His series for Challenge TV, titled “Roy Walker’s TV Bloomers” was transmitted in 2009 and for the same channel, his series “Roy Walkers’s Game Show Moments” was screened later that year. Roy also made a guest appearance on the Royal Variety Show 2009.

He made his movie debut as ‘The Monsignor’ in the film The Jealous God, based on the best-selling novel of the same name by John Braine. The Jealous God, starring Jason Merrells (Cutting It, Clocking Off) and Denise Welch (Coronation Street, Soldier, Soldier, Down to Earth) was released by North Country Pictures.

Tickets for the show in Belfast are on sale now from the Grand Opera House Box Office.
