SLIDESHOW: Christmas lights switch-on in Broughshane
The village of Broughshane was packed recently with local people and visitors from a wide area for the annual switching on of the Christmas lights.
Mid & East Antrim Mayor, Cllr Billy Ashe was in attendance and addressed the crowd which gathered in the centre of the village for the occasion.
As in previous years, there was a festive atmosphere on Main Street where local councillors joined in the traditional countdown to the big switch-on.
