Families from a wide area flocked to Hillstown Farm on Saturday to experience a day of fabulous al fresco fun.

The Glebe Road farm’s popular annual event once again had a packed programme of activities on offer for the large numbers of visitors which turned up including bouncy castles, an assault course, tractor-trailer rides and, of course, the chance to meet the farm’s many animals including the latest addition, a baby Llama.

Located just outside Ahoghill, near Whiteside’s Corner, the Logan family business puts their success down to quality produce - all lamb, pork and beef sold in their farm shop has been born and raised on the family’s adjoining farm.

The farm shop also stocks a wide range of products including fruit, vegetables, milk, jams, tray bakes, and is now selling cooked free range chickens, homemade pies, desserts and sausage rolls.

It has been accredited with numerous awards including NI Gourmet Pork Sausage Champion four years running, Elite Butcher’s Cup for Outstanding Achievement, and a top 10 finish is the UK sausage finals. They also received two Gold Stars in the recent Great Taste Awards.
