Soroptimist branch Strawberry Tea

The Ballymena branch of Soroptimist International held their annual Strawberry Tea in aid of suicide awareness group, Turning Point NI recently.

The weather held up and guests enjoyed their afternoon tea outdoors.

Thanks to the generous time given by the Soroptimist International volunteers and also the very generous donations from the guests £480 was raised and a cheque presented to Trudi Hall from Turning Point NI .

Trudi explained that Turning Point NI are a new charity with premises at Lower Mill Street, Ballymena.

This charity has been set up to help those with suicidal ideation, self harm and substance misuse problems. It is a place to come in confidence to receive support and guidance for those who are in need.
