Source gets a colourful boost

It came as part of Network Personnel’s ongoing commitment to delivering advice and guidance to the area.

Imelda Purcell, a top image consultant, oversaw an informal workshop at the Quay Road branch to introduce her ‘Shine With True Colours’ programme.

Geraldine Anslow, from Network Personnel’s Source programme, revealed: “Imelda had a wealth of good advice on looking your best and maximising your wardrobe’s potential without breaking the bank - and with a view to stepping out confident that you are looking great!”

Moyle co-ordinator Aine Sherrard added: “Source is a committed programme which has a fantastic success rate and this is reflected by those who have moved into employment by the on-going help and support from our one-to-one employment mentors.

“We are here to answer any queries or concerns relating to training and employment issues.

“Source is funded by the Department for Employment and Learning and has been based in Ballycastle servicing the Moyle District Council area since September 2011. It’s a free service and completely voluntary so if you are unemployed and in receipt of health-related benefits, JSA, or a women returnee (after a career break) or a young person not in education, training or employment get in touch.

“We‘re also here for people with any other barriers such as an offending history, homelessness or a history of drug and alcohol misuse. Let a member of our team to help you or a family member.”
