The marathon will see them start off with a league game to start before throwing for the duration in different parts of the club.

Set to benefit is the Glenanne Unit providing care and support to people suffering with all forms of cancer and their loved ones in what is a very difficult time for anyone.

Stute captain Jamie Serplus said: “This is a key facility right on our doorstep serving the local community. It is a place none of us ever want to attend but one walk around it shows the vital care they provide but also the need for all the funding they can get.”

“All donations from our sponsorship forms and collections up to and during the marathon will go directly to the Glenanne Unit. For those unable to be in direct contact with us we have also set up an online donation page. Everything donated on this page goes to Macmillan Cancer Support. Macmillan work directly with the Glenanne Unit and provide the much needed funds for GPs and Nurses in the unit.
