Summer dining right on course at Hilton Templepatrick

Hilton Templepatrick is celebrating all that is summer with a variety of tasty offerings at Kinahan’s Bar and Bistro overlooking the scenic golf course.

Open during the weekend from Thursday through Sunday, visitors have a choice from the bistro menu or can instead treat themselves to an afternoon tea with the option of bubbles.

Kinahan’s afternoon tea is served from 2pm to 5pm each Thursday to Sunday, serving assorted finger sandwiches - Irish smoked salmon, chicken coronation, Irish ham and wholegrain mustard, cucumber and irish cream cheese, homemade scones with Irish whipped cream and preserves and assortment of pastries and sweet fancies. A selection of loose caddy teas is also available.

T raditional afternoon tea is £29.95 per couple or £39.95 per couple with Prosecco.

For those who prefer an icy cold beer, Kinahan’s is the place to go to sample the top 10 bottle beers of the world during a special promotion which runs until the end of June.

Beers include Liefmans CuveeBrut, Leffe, Modelo Especial and Estrella. Pop over between 5pm -7pm on Thursday to Sunday and you can buy two bottles for the price of one.

Kinahan’s Bar and Bistro makes a fantastic setting for a hot coffee, cool drink, afternoon tea, lunch or dinner. Seating up to 60 people it enjoys a panoramic viewing gallery of the beautiful countryside and lake.

It is open to the public and also can be hired for private parties, anniversary celebrations and corporate events.
