Support for NHS workers

Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart has underlined her support for healthcare workers in the current Covid-19 crisis.

She said: “All staff are pulling together to help battle COVID 19 and save lives, as well as maintain many of the regular services we benefit from having a world class NHS. It is an incredible effort, with many risking their own health and well-being to do so. That in my eyes is heroic. I will continue to do all I can to ensure our health workers have all the necessary PPE they need to keep safe. I have raised this with the Health Minister and I know he is doing his best in what are incredibly trying circumstances.

“We all need to keep our healthcare workers in our prayers in the days ahead. As a nation we owe them a great debt.”
