TinyLife, formerly NIMBA, is Northern Ireland’s premature baby charity and provides practical and emotional support to the parents of premature and sick babies through their raft of Family Support Services.

Every day in Northern Ireland a staggering six babies are born too soon, some arriving as early as 24 weeks and weighing as little as one pound.

TinyLife is committed to funding medical research into the causes of premature birth, stillbirth and miscarriage, providing information to health professionals.

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough, Councillor John Scott, commented “It is great to see the work Tiny Life do throughout the community; they are a life line for families of premature babies.

“I am delighted that Council are showing their support for a crucial charity,” he said.
